As part of a complete interior design and fitout project we transformed a property, vacant for over 20 years, into a new head office for our clients MRC Estate & Letting Agents Ltd.
Originally the building allowed very little light in, through two full height windows downstairs and only one box window on the second floor and almost no electrical lighting. We saw this as an opportunity to create a light and spacious area that would house all of MRC’s office needs.
The property was completely transformed and featured geometric flooring that aligned with the freshly decorated walls and a new ceiling. A noticeable feature to the main office area is the full height glass partitions. These are great for allowing the light and colours of the flooring and walls to flow throughout the upper floor, as well as providing privacy when required.
As well as the office interior, we also created a newly plumbed and custom fitted bathroom area, complete with modern cubical toilets and sinks on the second floor of the building. Further to this, a custom built reception desk, communal kitchen, meeting room, and waiting area were all designed and fitted to complete the installation of the second floor. The Strata Group also supplied all of the office furniture that you see in the images provided.
The first floor was transformed from an unused, dark space into an indoor parking area for the staff of MRC. This part of the project involved new flooring throughout the ground floor, lighting and full decorating throughout, as well as the installation of a new secure shutter door.
